The two videos found here offer a very brief overview of the Gospel of John , and then move more directly into the passion narrative of John’s Gospel (Jn 18.1-19.42), the Gospel focus for the liturgical celebration for Good Friday.

 

Each video presentation runs for approximately 30 minutes.
 

• The first video covers Jn 18.1-14, from Jesus’ Garden arrest to his being brought before the High Priestly officialdom and family.

• The second video moves from the “trial” of Peter to the burial of Jesus after his death (Jn 18.15-19.42). Brief comments are offered on John’s resurrection narrative (Jn 20.1-18), though this is not the primary focus of the presentation.
